Why I Betrayed Songbird in Cyberpunk 2077:Phantom Liberty

I'm gonna explain why Betraying Songbird in the cyberpunk 2077 DLC is the best choice unlike what most of the internet would have you think.

(.....THIS POST CONTAINS MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR CYBERPUNK 2077 AND ITS DLC'S..... )Look, it’s no secret Cyberpunk had a disastrous launch, but as we all know, the game did redeem itself. I personally waited like 3 years to play the game after it was properly patched and running fine. And you know what, I actually did enjoy the game a lot, and it has been one of my most favorite games of all time. This is because, from my own perspective, the game has a brilliant story that really makes you think about your life choices. See, I finished playing the game, and around that time I then got diagnosed with cancer, and it was during my medical situation that I really thought deeply about the game and the similarities of my own life’s story and V's (THE MAIN PROTAGONIST).Cyberpunk is sort of an RPG where certain choices give you different endings, and these choices are what bring me to today’s post on why I betrayed Songbird, a Night City netrunner facing a similar predicament to V. To keep it short, all you have to know is that the DLC offers different endings from the base game. I personally was not a fan of any of the base game endings because there’s no happy ending for V, but I mean, we all know there’s no happy ending in Night City. Now, how you end up with Songbird is that she contacts you after the Voodoo Boys quest and tells you she has a cure for your current predicament. If you choose to link up with her, she will ask you to save the NUSA president, Roselyn Meyers. If you progress her quest further, you will quickly find out she is a very powerful netrunner working for the NUSA government and has been using the Blackwall to enhance her netrunning abilities.An ex-FIA agent by the name Solomon Reed and Alex will join you in trying to help Songbird, who is now in Kurt Hansen's (DOG TOWN'S CHIEF) hands. Now somewhere in the story, Reed will also provide an option to cure you, so you will now have 2 options. Option A is to trust Songbird, and Option B is to ...
